If you want to understand how to design products and services, you need to first understand behavior.

It takes time, it takes doing, it takes testing and learning.

Nudges, interventions are not a copy and paste thing, which sadly I see quite a bit in the apps and products I use.

Just because it worked for Instagram does not mean it will work for you.

The environment your customer is in is so important and that is where the magic happens. And it is not something you can opt out of designing.

Also, I am seeing more and more frameworks that include “behaviors” from teams building products, yet I have not see a behavioral map/diagnosis to accompany those so called behaviors.

If you are interested in learning more about applying behavioral science or building a behavioral journey for your customer, here are a few books that are interesting, which I personally have. ( I have not read them all, as some just reached me recently).
