This is great language for Practitioners and Academics and it does matter of course…
However, the language is too complex and a new mental model most organisations don’t fully yet comprehend, nor may have time or motivation to do so.
Remember, we are in the business of enabling change yet we do tend to forget this in our own work.
One lesson this year for myself has been to start to use behavioral science in a way that other teams and organizations can understand and relate to.
If that means more work on my end to simplify, then this is what needs to be done.
Let’s remember that just because something is good, does not mean it will be adopted.
So, if you are integrating behavior into your work, keep it simple!
