💡My tip: if you are going to deploy it, at least give me some autonomy (control) of how the feature will work for me.
Examples:
1) let me set the time/dates I want to have a streak. (Turn on/off)
2)Let me determine what a streak means for me (maybe it’s reading once a week and not daily)
Just giving me information may lead to uniteded consequences, which I have seen on some fintech apps. (And some studies have recently shown) - I do the opposite of your design.
As designers it is valuable to understand psychology and know that choice means giving me one, not being imposed one.
You can and should do better :)
