You need to think about the behavioural drivers to adoption of new technologies...
While many reports and "influencers" like to sell you on all the benefits of AI or other emerging technologies, they rarely talk about how adoption of these technologies is actually going to get done.
For example, AI agents can be good for businesses and governments as the report by Deloitte talks about, however understanding how to integrate these into the organization is not always that straight forward.
In addition, many organizations may have questions on how to prepare the workforce - and training alone is probably not going to be enough to get these technologies adopted.
You need to think more holistically, to understand drivers beyond just capability and knowledge - to know that norms, culture, beliefs, emotions and other influences are going to need to be addressed and to apply some foresight.
Let's not even mention unintended consequences that you need to account for as you adopt these technologies, which could pose high risks for the people and the organizations.
While the report tells us that leaders should act now to stay competitive in this rapidly changing landscape (which I don't disagree on) if they don't do so from a behavioural, systemic and systematic and foresight approach, then the outcomes may not be reached.
