🧠 When teaching at IDEO U #StorytellingForInfluence or #ImpactfulPresentation I always try to challenge the learners on the mental models we have around presentations at work.
👁️ In the last years I have always tried to play with visualization to better communicate my ideas and to make the work fun and engaging! 🧑🏽🤝🧑🏽 I truly believe that also communication needs to be human-centered because as humans we connect through emotions. This is why, when I need to communicate an idea or design a workshop setup, I use visualization to engage my audience and deliver the key messages.
📝 Here is an example: while working with Robert Meza on a framework to guide Organizational Transformation with a Behavioral Perspective, I am illustrating the emotional journey of the teams involved in the transformation. This is the first step: contemplating the need for change.
