What is a Nudge-Fluencer?

A person with the ability to influence potential buyers of a product or service by telling them a "Nudge" is all it takes to change Behavior.

They may show you a yogurt example, a jar of many flavors of jams, or an illustration of do this, not that.

If someone is selling you instant and 100% results based on a cognitive bias they cracked, please run the other way.

I have no problem with Nudges or Cognitive Biases, but please remember that the examples you are shown are for illustrative purposes and that they are just a teeny tiny part of a change initiative.

They were run most possibly in a lab and may not replicate because they lack context for your specific case.

They are possible tactics you could maybe use, once you complete all the hard work to understand what you actually need to enable you to drive behavior (using an evidence-based framework (s).

I say this because I want you all to get the most out of using behavioral insights and realize that when not used well, results will be disappointing.

P.S. - People are complex, systems are complex, and designing for people requires an evidence-based and systematic approach, that a single nudge example is not going to give you.

Happy Nudgefluencing 😬
