Mixed methods wins the game for driving organizational change...
It delivers outcomes that matter for both employees and the business, this is the lesson I've learned over the years, and it's become sharper recently while applying organizational behavior change to how organizations transform.
There is no way to win if we use only one method, remember, they all enhance one another, but you need to understand them individually before you can mix and match them, and eventually master them.
This is where my SHIFT framework came from.. My thinking is influenced firmly at the intersection of Organizational/Culture Change, Jobs to be Done, Behavioral Science, and Human-Centred Design.
I try and read alot, both books and papers, but also I get experience from training teams and doing consulting, so its a health mix of things... which inspires me to share here with all of you.
This is a short list of books that can help you build a stronger foundation and find some inspiration, beyond the traditional org change books...so you can test, validate, and learn as you lead change.
I have some books on my Kindle that I can't photograph in this way but that deserve a mention, so I'll start with those.
This list isn't complete, of course, but I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.
