I would say this also applies to an evidence based and systematic approach.
I used to think that ideation on its own would yield the best results, because frankly speaking who doesn’t get excited by seeing lots of post-it’s and great ideas.
I however have shifted this, and while I do still find ideation valueable, I use it more as a tool to give inspiration, to see if any interesting patters appear, but I cross-reference (when possible) back to the science 🧪 to see if it can guide us in a better way.
And yes, I do love ❤️ prototyping, but only when we have found the right job/problem to go after.
