Here are 5 tips for creating better experiences with behavioral science

1)Don't rely only on nudges - If you use Nudges or Biases they usually are done at the end of your design and they are but a tiny part of how you get to a solution

2) Don't manipulate users - change is there for those who want to change. We use the tools to enable and not to manipulate - because no one likes to be manipulated!

3) Don't skip the time it takes to frame the behavioral problem - framing the problem with enough context is going to help you know what you need to design for, don't skip this and be as specific as possible.

4) Don't assume people are irrational - it's the context that matters, we all act in different ways from time to time, but based on context and not because we are somehow irrational - learn to know the drivers.

5) Don’t confuse a habit with a routine - this is a big one. So many posts on LinkedIn talk about the 5 habits that will make you - rich, successful, etc... most of these are routines and they need to have the right conditions to work.
