Could Behavioral Science + Design + AI give you good outcomes?

I used this AI tool to create some behavior change techniques in around 15 minutes... (the example would still need work, but nevertheless... it was quick)

The tool is called Lovable and I am currently testing it to prototype some behavior change techniques for my upcoming course.

Now, can an app like this replace a designer or a well trained behavioral scientist - not in my opinion.

I think the value here with this tool would be for a designer:

To perhaps use a tool like this to help give them ideas and direction so they can move quicker to prototyping features to test - however, you still need to have the foundations of research and design to really understand if what you are making is going to meet the needs of the people who would be using it.

I would also say that a designer would also understand how to think about the flows, mechanics, features etc... and that has to come from experience.

For a Behavioral Scientist

You could be able to work alongside the designer and show them the techniques that you would like to implement and test in a product by prompting the AI to show you visually what these could look like - this would include things you would have experience on from decision making, motivation theories, psychology etc... and doing so after you would have completed your behavioral analysis to understand the drivers of behavior you would be addressing.

It could then give you a quicker way to test hypothesis and put the products into the real world.

This tool also lets you have a backend integration, which could also mean feeding it with data samples that would be familar to the people testing it.

My team and I are going to continue testing it and bringing more theory and techniques into it and see what outputs we can get - but from the time I used it - it looks promising.

Again, not a substitute for either design nor behavioral skills.

Have you tried it or other like it? which do you also recommend?
