The Behavioral Engagement and AI Adoption Model is something we have been working on behind the scenes.

We see lots of people talking about adoption readiness, yet we don't see many including the behavioral and motivational elements that organizations and companies will need to account for when it comes to employees and customers adopting a new technology like AI.

Though we have different engagement models we work with internally - for products and overall employee engagement - we worked on adjusting some of the variables we used in those models to develop one specifically for AI.

BEAAM - (short for Behavioral Engagement and AI Adoption Model) combines different theories and integrates behavioral science with strategic implementation.

We wanted to make sure we could account for things like AI being trusted, aligned with business objectives, embedded into workflows, and supported by necessary capabilities.

The model and accompanying framework focuses on four key pillars:

1) Trust & Psychological Safety 2) AI Motivation & Strategic Fit 3) AI Literacy & Capability Development 4) Routine Integration & Continuous Adaptation

The idea for BEAAM was to provide a structured, evidence-based approach to overcoming adoption barriers from an individual and system perspective.

We are working on building a small site to make it easier for organizations to get their Readiness (before adopting) and Engagement (once you have adopted) scores and results automatically.

As I have said many times, being able to think critically and to understand how a deep understanding of behavior can help you, will in the end make a big difference in your business...

How are you preparing for Adoption or Engagement of these kinds of Emerging Technologies
