Here are two fantastic books to help you design for behavior change.
1) The first book is by Michelle Drapkin, PhD ABPP and it's called: The Motivational Interviewing Path to Personal Change - I read the book over a weekend in preparation for a piece I collaborated on with Anna Zsófia Csontos about how to bring Motivational Interviewing into Product design.
Though Michelle's book is not focused on Product Design, it will teach you and give you space to work on exercises to use Motivational Interviewing to help you achieve positive and internally driven change.
2) Engaged by Amy Bucher is one of those books that you have at hand when you need to design for behavior.
What can you expect in the book?
Amy discusses motivation and basic psychological needs and references Self Determination Theory. - Intrinsic Motivation is key and also a reason why Motivational Interviewing pairs up so well.
As designers have to make designs to ensure we meet psychological needs in our products - and this can be done by ensuring autonomy, competence, and relatedness are accounted for in your features.
Both books touch upon COM-B, though Amy goes deeper into the Behavior Change Wheel and gives some great examples.

She also gives you tips on how to solve ability blockers:
