Do you have any questions you want to ask me about Behavioral Science in Business?
Maybe you are curious about trying something out in a project at work, related to digital products, service design, change, and transformation.
Behavioral Science is not a black box of magic, it's just a more systematic and systemic way to design solutions.
Those solutions we help enable are not different from what you already know, what you already design, and what you already develop.
What is perhaps different is that we look at the drivers of behavior in a different way than perhaps you are used to, we define behaviors in more detail and add more context.
We don't just look at how you feel and think - we also look at the systems around you, the environment, and the capabilities of those we design for.
We borrow from different disciplines, like Neuroscience, sociology, anthropology, service design, psychology and we pick the tools and frameworks that will serve us best based on the challenge we are trying to overcome and the impact we want to get.
If we don't have sufficient knowledge in one area, we will bring in SME's - like a psychologist, or an anthropologist to work with us on parts of a solution, and we bring in designers so they can create solutions based on our findings and add their expertise as well.
(Disclaimer: This is my approach to working on projects, this may not be everyone else's approach, but it is the one that I follow and that has worked well for the clients I work with)
So, as it is still my birthday week, do leave your questions in the comments and I will do my best to answer as many as possible - I may also invite other Behavioral people I know to answer if they are more suited to a specific context.
There is no judgment on the questions, so don't be afraid to ask, just here to help.
One last thing
Please bare in mind that this is linkedin, so as much as I would like to give long and super detailed answers, I may not be able to do so for each comment, so if you can keep your questions to specific and related topics, it will be best.
I've never done this before, so I am also doing this as a test to see how it goes and see if people find value in the questions and answers - also It will help me understand what you are actually trying to learn and apply.
Thanks as always for your support
